I remember so well my parents talking about you as we lived in Harold Street, next door to you! I’m not sure that we ever met (unless you returned once) as I wasn’t born until after you left Hereford. Both my parents died some years ago but I know you will remember them – Margaret and Alfred Brook. I too sang in Hereford Choral Society and Three Choirs, going on to Teacher Training in Liverpool and then to Trinity College of Music for a supplimentary year. I have a cousin Mary Lafford who lives in Chatham, UK, who I believe is a distant relative of yours. We also share something in common as both have composed a substancial amount of music for organ.
